Student Pilot G1000 Simulator Training Session (IR & General Flying)

Flight training environments can be demanding, and simulator access is not always available when you need extra practice. This structured session gives student pilots dedicated time in a Cessna 172 G1000 glass cockpit simulator to build and reinforce essential flying skills in a realistic training environment.

The Student Pilot G1000 Glass Cockpit Simulator Training Session (IR & General Flying) is designed to support both Instrument Rating (IR) training and general VFR flying practice, making it suitable for pilots at different stages of their training.

This session is ideal for developing instrument proficiency, improving procedural knowledge, and strengthening overall flight confidence using modern glass cockpit systems.

Session times are flexible and agreed upon after booking, depending on availability.
Instructor support is not included as standard, allowing for self-directed training.

You will begin with 1 hour in our briefing room, where you can plan your flight, review procedures, and prepare effectively before entering the simulator.

You will then move into the C172 G1000 simulator for a 3-hour session, allowing extended, focused practice in areas such as:

Instrument flying (IFR procedures, approaches, holds, navigation, G1000 workflow)
IR training support and procedure repetition for exam and checkride preparation
General VFR flying (handling, situational awareness, navigation, aircraft control)
Glass cockpit management using Garmin G1000 avionics

After your simulator session, you will complete a 15-minute debrief to review performance, identify areas for improvement, and consolidate learning outcomes.

A relaxation break is included during the session, giving you time to reset in our lounge with a complimentary soft drink.
