Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work for individual simulator flights and flight collections booked at greeksimmers.com. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Cancellation by you
- You may cancel a booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Amounts already paid (full payment or deposit) are refunded in full.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start time are not eligible for a refund, except in the documented exceptional circumstances described below.
- To cancel, sign in to your dashboard, open "My Flights" and use the Cancel action on the booking, or contact us at info@greeksimmers.com.
2. Rescheduling
- Instead of cancelling, you may request to reschedule your booking from your dashboard. Reschedule requests are reviewed and confirmed by our team.
- Reschedule requests follow the same 48-hour notice rule. A booking may normally be rescheduled once free of charge.
- For flight collections, the start time is fixed per collection — rescheduling changes the date only.
3. How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method.
- Refunds are initiated within 5 business days of approval; depending on your bank, the amount typically appears within 5–10 business days.
- We will confirm by email when a refund has been initiated.
4. Deposits
Where a booking was made with a deposit, the deposit follows the same rules as full payments: refundable with at least 48 hours' notice, non-refundable after that, unless an exceptional circumstance applies.
5. Late arrival and no-show
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Sessions include a pre-flight briefing.
- If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened so that following bookings are not affected; the full price remains payable.
- Failure to attend without prior cancellation ("no-show") is treated as a late cancellation and is not refundable.
6. Cancellation by GreekSimmers
In exceptional cases we may have to cancel or interrupt a session — for example due to technical failure of a simulator, safety concerns, or force majeure. In that case you choose between: (a) a full refund of all amounts paid for the affected booking, or (b) rebooking at a new date and time of equal value, at no extra cost. If a session is interrupted partway for reasons attributable to us, we will offer a proportionate refund or make-up time.
7. Exceptional circumstances
For cancellations inside the 48-hour window caused by serious documented events — such as medical emergencies — contact us as soon as possible at info@greeksimmers.com. We assess such cases individually and in good faith.
8. Flight collections and packages
- The rules above apply to flight collections as a whole. Individual components of a collection booking (e.g. one seminar inside a package) cannot be cancelled separately.
- Merchandise included in a collection is handed over at your visit; statutory warranty rights are unaffected.
9. Right of withdrawal (distance contracts)
Under EU consumer law, services related to leisure activities that are booked for a specific date or period are exempt from the standard 14-day withdrawal right (Article 16(l), Directive 2011/83/EU). This policy's cancellation terms apply instead — in most cases they are more generous than the statutory minimum.
